I sold the game ten hours in after deciding it wasn’t for me.

“Filed to: Malpractice.”

If you think this is a game you would enjoy, I can’t say that’s a bad idea. I’ve played fully through the demo on normal (after failing at hard), then went back into it again on hard (making it further than the first time), and I’m probably going to jump in again. It feels tight and solid in a way that speaks very

Genuine question? Because a real answer might be that a touchpad, in my mind, corresponds with my rectangular screen (even if that’s not true or somewhat arbitrary). So now, I’m going to have to buy a fancy, parallelogram for a monitor...

Look, you can’t be responsible for the delay of half of these games, and then do an ironic post about how they’re not out in 2016.

Fun brief look; I’ll be genuinely interested to see what you think after more time with the game, if you give it the effort. I don’t mind putting money into a free-to-play game, but too often, I’m put off by the way the game gets balanced in the interest of making money. I’m glad to pay for games; I don’t love games

To be clear, I want to read the article, but I also really, really want to discover this dungeon for myself. So clicking on the article and not reading it was how I resolved that bit of internal tension.

Clicked on the article in a show of support and to help generate ad revenue.

I read Kotaku for the articles. I swear. The serious stuff.

I’ll probably end up buying something cosmetic, just to say ‘thank you.’

I play these games at least in part for meaningful gameplay unlocks and cosmetics. Once I had all the characters, and unlocked a half-dozen “oh, look! slightly different color scheme” skins for those characters, I couldn’t stick with the game without my friends (who were all playing Overwatch).

My favorite is the comment that “I’m never buying anything from Nintendo again.”

I’m going to pretend that this is exactly the reason that I never truly became invested in Oblivion or Skyrim, but played through Morrowind to some sort of ending.

Total experience cost for levels 1 through 22, as it currently stands – 292,500

This is making me chortle.

This is making me laugh. Luke Plunkett is all, “Look at this cool thing I saw,” and we’re all, “Psh! Son, you’re late to THIS party!”

This. I specifically came here to speak up about Battlecon. Many clever touches to replicate the feel of a 2D fighter, and with a big cast of characters.
