I think she chose it of her own free will. Being the preeminent woman action hero actor (Yes, via RE, but who else has been doing it as long as Milla? The first RE came out 15 years ago) isn’t a bad gig. She and Jason Statham are similar - both have the acting chops to do more serious work, but they’re clearly happy…

Now, the question is did working with her talent-challenged husband ruin her chance at an A-list career or give her a better one as a B-list star where she carries her own franchises (with her clothes on as a hero and not a whore). I’m kinda thinking maybe it’s better to rule in hell than serve in heaven.
