I wonder if I'm the only one who watched that show as a kid, and didn't know/understand the premise at all. After I found out I was all like "Ohhhhh, that's what was going on."

Oh, don't get me wrong, it's less a critique of the writing and more of the characters themselves. Dean and Hank have always had a bit of a strange "stuck in time" quality and seem very immature for their ages. The fact that they shook that up a bit in season 4 is a lot of what made it good.

Ooh, yeah, that's a good one. That was one of those episodes that made me think, "You know, this show is much better than it has any right to be."

I'd do "Everyone Comes to Hank's" personally. It's one of the few episodes where the boys actually seem to have some character growth.

Snuff's alright, but I'm feeling like the Watch books are kind of played out. Personally I'd like it if he wrapped up the series…or maybe shifted the focus over to Carrot for at least one more book. But of course the problem with shifting the focus to Carrot is that a lot of what makes him work is that his thought…

Mine was "Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge."

I never realized it was Louis C.K. when I first watched it, but I'm pretty firmly in the "Pootie Tang is a Secret Success" camp.

Yeah, I think the point is that the racism is basically trolling people, which is the joke…but it's big enough now that there are a lot of people who don't get the joke. Which is PART of the joke. They're trolling both the racists and the people offended by racism. It's almost brilliant in a completely stupid way.

Seriously. There's no proof it isn't. And I could totally see Stan Lee doing that in his spare time.
