I would say that Batman: TAS and Spectacular Spider-Man were pretty much both the pinnacle of showing what was so great about their source material.  It's really hard to compare them because the two characters are such opposites.  Spider-Man is quick, upbeat, and quippy, while Batman is dark and brooding.  I think

@avclub-33807fbc68d335db8080d3c10cb78822:disqus : For me there's a whole aspect of, "Really?  It's 2012 and we're making fun of ancient nerd stereotypes?  Did they miss the memo where pretty much everyone is a nerd now in some sense?"  And the attempted pandering to nerds is just hard to watch.  It's pretty clear that

If they don't care enough about you to spell your name right, it's probably the wrong time to be asking for a raise.

Well, I think it's just that the novelty has worn off a bit for me.  At first when I was watching it, I was always thinking, "Wow, I've never seen a show do something like that before."  Now it's more like, "I wonder what weird pop culture parody they're gonna do this week."  It just doesn't surprise me as much

You know, I was absolutely in love with this show after watching the first season, but I'm a lot less enthused by it as it goes on.  I think the novelty just wore off a bit.  I really think the show is just more clever than actually funny sometimes, and that Steve's right in his assertion that the show is ultimately

I think Fox thinks the audience for sci-fi is highly specialized and loyal, and will tend to follow the shows wherever they go…plus it probably represents the audience most likely to time-shift.  And their standards for what they need for ratings on a Friday are probably a lot less than any other night.  So it makes

I always leaned that way as well, but it's a little unclear if everything happened and people's memories just changed, or if they actually changed history.  It seems problematic either way.  For example, if the events never occurred, then why is Wesley still Badass Wesley, then?  (Of course, events could have been

It's all a little unclear, but one thing I've always wondered about: Does Angelus + Gypsy Curse Soul = Liam?  Or did Angel get a different soul when he was cursed than his original?

Phew, when I saw that headline, I was afraid that it was because one would serve as a series finale, and one would not…

I've always admired Taco Bell's crazy fast food engineering, and the way they always turn the same 5 or so ingredients into an actual menu.  I personally consider the Crunchwrap Supreme to be some sort of pinnacle of human fast food achievement.

I'd probably go with:
1. The Bugle
2. Sklarbro Country
3. WTF
4. Bullseye (although I find it a little hit or miss)

I drive past a sign pointing to the "Boetticher Mansion" every morning and think to myself, "Poor Gale. =("

Considering that she's about the second most evil character in the series, and even her friends turn against her in the end, yeah she's definitely hateable.  But of course it's love to hate, not hate hate.  She is definitely an awesome villain.

If you're talking about Hate-Hate and not Love-Hate, then can you pick the entire writing room for the Walking Dead?

Too many comments on this article to see if someone has already said this, but the correct answer is Azula.

I can't diss Mulgrew's voice because Gargoyles.  What was with that show and all the Trek people?

It says a lot that we all seem to have assumed this was about the Angel character instead of, you know, the original Eve.

Wouldnt surprise me.  There seemed to be several season 1 eps aired out of order.  The show pretty much dropped the whole 'getting dumped at the altar' plotline immediately and then came back to it way later in the season.  Don't blame them, though…it would've made Dave and Alex seem like the main characters when

I was surprised by the suggestion that people didn't like the ending of The Shield.  I thought it had the best ending I had ever seen of any long-running series.  *Spoilery* That scene in the second-to-last episode where Vic sits down with ICE and confesses all his crimes was just completely chilling and kinda makes

Considering I actually thought After Dark was great despite a lot of negative reviews, does that mean 1Q84 might appeal to me as well?
