“A lifetime of scars.”  Really.  Cops don’t realize that they give people legit PTSD.  Handcuffs, detainment, guns drawn, etc., is more than enough to lose a person’s trust forever.  None of these people get therapy.  This is permanent damage to the person and the community, but we never address that.
