If there’s a thing I truly appreciate about MMA, it is that the refs almost have to be fighters themselves.

Nuclear weapon delivery coach Bill Belichick made the surprising decision today to sign the assumed-retired V2, saying that the experience of the veteran vehicle would be a benefit to the younger systems on the team, and that he believed it still has a role to play on the battlefield.
If you have to have reviews:
Well she did marry a Caps fan...
Think of your sport of choice’s GOAT-that-never-won-a-ring and you’d probably be close
My Yinzer wife was wondering if the Pens are the Patriots of hockey, and if so that makes Sid the Tom Brady. I don’t think that’s quite the right analogy, but I took it since I couldn’t pass up that burn.
Wait, really?
A question was posed to my friend slack and we had a debate about it, which went to some dark places (beastiality, Nazis, etc):
Single-engine out is bread-and-butter training for multi-engine pilots, it’s probably the first failure you encounter when you start training. An engine out is always an emergency out of caution (in the sense of “hey we get priority landing” rather than “omg we’re all going to die), but the aircraft was quite possibly…
First, Safe Sport is completely a covering-your-ass move pushed on the associations by insurance companies so the associations can disassociate them from fallout when abuse does happen within clubs. Fencing’s had it for two or three years at this point, and some of the associations have had it longer. It’s dodgy in…

Isn’t clogging a discover playlist with things you might like, like, a pretty critical part of discovering new music? Yeah you’ll get some stinkers, but if you’re exploring you’ll get some stinkers no matter what.
There’s a ton of modern bands out there with strong brass sections, without being rehashes of what once was. I’ve recently come across Budos Band, Lettuce, and Monophonics
I’ve found a bunch of new stuff from the artist/album radios on Spotify, generally at a better rate than the discover playlist. And even if I don’t stick with anything it plays, it’s usually a good selection of Stuff to Just Listen To. Also playing an album to the end and letting Spotify continue playing other stuff…
Using Apple Pay (can’t speak for Samsung) doesn’t change that process at all: you’re still dealing with your bank and your card. Apple isn’t replacing your bank or your card, it’s just a mechanism for generating unique transaction IDs that your bank knows are linked to your card.
Or we do it the european way where the waiter brings the NFC-enabled card machine to your table
