Hockey: where bouncing off an opponent to score is a legitimate tactic

Of course you never trust the reaction if the outcome favors the player. But if my view isn’t great or doubtful, and the player is acting as if he didn’t make the play, why would I call counter to that?

If a player wants to dupe me by feigning an outcome that’s worse for him, have at it

There are times as an official when seeing a player’s reaction is a reasonable way to judge a call.

I’d wager that strikeouts are a better indication of pitcher skill than it is of a batter’s inability. Plenty of unarguably good batters get struck out a lot and we don’t hold it against them; and if a batter gets struck out an extraordinary amount of times, it’s probably a symptom more than a disease.

Mookie is a good baseball name

Wouldn’t mind something like this as a spectator in the stands. Maybe it’s a minor leage problem, but I’ve had many times where something odd occurs and nobody in the stands knows wtf just happened

I appreciate how running up the score with trick shots isn’t just okay, but encouraged.

*yawn*

Since I don’t know basketball, are tactical fouls like this accepted as part of the game? I know that fouls in basketball can be somewhat wishy-washy so maybe that’s considered a bigger deal.

It’s an interesting time for aging heroes facing the trials and tribulations of time. If Fed is being physically held back by anything, raw experience and smarts is completely out-shining it. Nadal’s probably in the same boat, and if it wasn’t for Fed we may not even notice. And then there are the likes of Tiger

The gif angle definitely made it look like it was in first time, I was surprised that the top view was so much more doubtful

Any salary lost from suspension could be made up for by longer playing career.

If the treatment gets him an extra year of playing, then he’s coming out on top.

Has anyone explored the tactical PED bust? Say you’re facing accumulating injuries that a course of HGH could help, you take it and if you get busted (or even report yourself after the fact), accept the suspension as preferable to having no more career. But I guess the powers that be would crack down on that hard once

Because instead you can have a bunch of six year olds playing hockey between periods?

They’re paid $6,000 dollars for four years of work and obligations. No matter how much money “they” bring in, that’s criminal.

I want to get a ukelele and learn it. I have no idea why I want to get and learn a ukelele, but there it is. What size ukelele should I get?

Sounds like that meeting went about as well as the time an insurance guy tried to tell me and a room full of people of game makers (people whose job is to analyise and break systems everyday) that HSAs were a good idea.
