Bingo!  Starting pitchers are often suspended 5 games because- my goodness, let’s think logically for a second- they pitch once every 5 games.  Not because beaning a guy is necessarily worth 5 games.

Is this post for real? Do you really not understand how this works?

And at a Philadelphia sports event of all places... totally off brand.

My god. I tried watching last night. It’s just stagnant. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a time in WWF/WWE history where they had such a high concentration of talented performers in their prime and they’re just *wasting* it so badly.  I hadn’t watched since Wrestlemania (a slog to say the least), and I will continue to

To me, two things kept them from accomplishing more:

That’s just a theory.

There are *MANY* great storylines for X-Men movies.  It’s about getting the right writer who understands the characters and their relationships and can weave them into a film retelling of those stories.  Fox failed to do that for the most part.  It’s also about finding a director who cares about the characters and

And the point is...

The Mets can’t even eat pancakes right.

Man, people are really hard on 311 in these comments. Obviously, they’re not in Sublime’s league, but they’ve made some really catchy tunes over the years (and there are A LOT of years at this point) and continue to put out a handful of gems (to me) on each album.

I’ve had 2 full days and 3 viewings to digest it all. Here are my thoughts.

This is a bargaining chip. Players have been complaining about service time manipulations and FA salaries the last couple of years and want less team control, but the teams won’t give that away for nothing.

God knows the passionate, heartfelt acting couldn’t.

No. Season 6 has excellent episodes other than just the final 2, which are epic. The Door is amazing. Blood of My Blood is excellent. The Book of the Stranger, Home, and No One are great episodes. The Broken Man is really the only episode I’d say is weak.

I agree. Season 6 was excellent. Not perfect, but excellent. And I like Season 7. Season 7 wasn’t “rushed” in the way the current season is rushed. In Season 7, they just played fast and loose with the concept of time during the events that take place. Season 8 is rushed because they’re creating half-baked storylines

There’s a big difference between the mindset of a writing and producing team when they know they’re working on a movie vs. a series. You pace things differently with a movie and leave out certain details, combine characters, eliminate plot threads that don’t matter to the overall story, etc.

My burning (pun intended) question is:

The number of Dothraki she has left is a far greater mystery to me.

I posted this separately, but I’m fairly certain you can see his brain fall out of his head as his body crashes into the pile of rubble.  Making it all the more classic.

On rewatch, I swore I think I saw Qyburn’s brain fall out of his head when he lands on the pile of rubble The Mountain him threw him onto.  Making his hilarious death all the more humorous.  Did anyone else catch this?
