Gods, I hate to defend Chase because he is such an insufferable prick who has done so much avoidable damage to his life, career and reputation, but...

To this day, I don’t understand why teams insist on carrying these albatross contracts. You have to pay the money anyway, so why not just pay a guy like Pujols to go away? Then, if he signs with another team, you still have to pay him, but at least you’re paying him to hurt someone else’s team rather than your own.

Oh, I didn’t mean to suggest that it’s good. It’s just more up her alley. As opposed to wrestling legit athletes who she can’t keep up with. And yes, Maryse is definitely superior in that role to because as you said, she is very aware of and comfortable with her limitations. I would add that Zelina Vega is the best

Chapman should definitely get all the A’s votes.  It’s laughable that people mention Davis when- even if you ignore the cavernous disparity in defensive value- Chapman’s actually been the better hitter of the two.

The idea that Khris Davis is a viable choice to receive votes in the upper half of the ballot is even more absurd than the idea that JD Martinez is the league MVP. Neither player is even the MVP of their own team. If either player receives votes ahead of Betts and Chapman respectively, (insert common refrain) those

Vince continues to show how tone deaf and oblivious he is... Not only does the core of his audience want to see them, the miniscule portion of the audience who *does* like them don’t care whether or not they’re actually in matches. They can just be characters/valets/talking heads/etc. and those people will be happy.

She’s a total non-athlete.  That’s the root of the problem.  All the training in the world won’t give her better coordination and timing.  They were able to (poorly) hide it when she was in glorified evening gown matches and pulling hair.  Now that she’s in actual wrestling matches with legit athletes, her obvious

They should at least be putting them in roles and situations where they don’t get exposed for what they are (note: Nikki is *far* better than Brie. Still bad, but far better). Keep letting Brie have her squabbles with Maryse as part of the Bryan-Miz feud. That’s a perfectly acceptable way to keep her involved. But

To an extent, they do this. Didn’t they fire Ken Anderson basically because people refused to work with him because his bizarre style led to a lot of botches? RVD was punished a couple times for his carelessness.

10 years is plenty of time to learn awareness and how to handle this situation. I just don’t think Brie has taken her 10 years to actually learn anything though other than a few repetitive and highly choreographed spots.  She’s just completely awkward and uncoordinated out there and she half asses the rest to make

I also remember a time when Jeff Hardy was in the process of a botch and likely would have slipped off the top turnbuckle and landed on his head/neck. Jericho put the brakes on his charge, changed course and gave Hardy a light shove to stop Hardy’s backward momentum. Then, he grabbed the ref to play it off like

Dragging her by the neck and watching her continually collapse was even worse that the 2 kicks. The 1st kick was an accident, the 2nd kick was carelessness/lack of coordination (a staple of Brie’s moveset). What happened from there was completely inexcusable and avoidable.

Ruby no sold Brie and gave her a very stiff shot later in the match. Brie visibly reacted with a combination of frustration and confusion. Also notable that Brie semi-botched the slingshot move leading to Ruby’s forearm shiver.

Exactly. Covers can be awesome, but you have to lend a new approach or idea, otherwise it's just lazy. Cornell's Billie Jean and Cake's I Will Survive are amazing covers. Some covers are even better than the original.

Don’t forget about Angel Hernandez and Joe West!

I just don’t understand this mentality. Don’t give out the number but don’t retire it? I’m not sure I understand why number retirement has to be so exclusive for such a pitiful franchise that has had so few great players (at least great Met players). Yeah, the Yankees have gone way overboard, so you don’t want to go

Not only *should* they retire his number, but if they don’t it just further goes to show how clueless, dysfunctional, and out of touch this franchise is. This is unquestionably the 2nd best player in the franchise’s history, and he’s a great ambassador for an otherwise miserable organization.  They should be thankful

If I were assembling a baseball team of awesome guys, first base would be the hardest choice.  Then again, whomever I don’t pick between Rizzo and Votto would probably just be the DH.

“...he’ll play the final season of his contract in San Jose before hitting a lucrative payday in unrestricted free agency....

I guess Lee Pace doesn’t count? How can he be certain his statement is even true? Not all gay actors are openly gay.
