You use more gas in the scenarios described, this is no different.

They made it more reliable in the extreme stress case while reducing it’s usefulness in normal use-cases. which is great if you plan to mainly race with it but if you’re planing to daily drive it’s going to suck.

Huh. I guess if one was expecting a sporty Mustang-inspired EV, it would be disappointing. But, to my eyes, it looks pretty svelte, and likely way sexier than the humble Niro EV.

I don’t mind it. And I like the idea of a sporty-looking EV crossover from a mass-market automaker. I don’t think branding it as an actual Mustang variant is a smart idea, but that wouldn’t stop me from buying one.

and I’m 5'8", so I’m not tiny

You’re showing your ignorance. It’s not on the seat. The clip is below the tray. With the tray down. Sorry, you don’t see it.

I’m not sure you understand how plane seats work. I’m tall and have long legs, the person in front of you reclining has no bearing on your legroom. None.

I’m 6'4"....5'8" is tiny.  I tend to wedge my knees in during takeoff and leave them there until I feel like the person has given up trying.  At my height it is hard not to wedge them, because my knees do not fit in that space.

And a flat plane crank V8 with a manual isn't much fun in traffic as a DD. A supercharged V8 with a dual clutch may be suboptimal on track, but it's great for the street.

The Camaro takes the cake though.

I wouldn’t know because I am not. And I say this as someone who owns it on DVD and watches it often anyway. its NOT a good movie. Its amazing visually, its cool, the sound is excellent, Steve McQueen rocks. But as a movie, objectively, compared to other actual “good movies”, its very much NOT.

Oh yeah Le Mans is a good movie Steve McQueen definitely rocks!

When will it end, seriously?

This is like the guy that shows up in a blue sport jacket, white shoes, brown pants, light blue blouse and red tie...

Do you know anything about aerodynamics or just pulled this ridiculous comment off your ass ? Seems like you don’t know much.

“So the air is going to go down the back window, along the trunk, up the lip spoiler and go crashing in to the basket-handle-spoiler. Sure, that’ll work!”

I can’t keep up with Cadillac. They introduce and cancel cars so frequently I have no idea what their lineup or brand direction even is.

They made some legit touring cars out of them. They had very similar suspension to the neon so they handled really well. Like seriously, not a joke.

Dodge got a Stratus homologated as a Super Touring car for use in the brief North American Touring Car Championship. PacWest ran a set of them.

It was a “touring” car, with the ubiquitous touring car wing.  IIRC they did pretty well but looked entirely out of place among the field of cars.  Dodge had zero road racing cred beyond the ACR Neon at the time.
