I’d wager it’s mostly people who want a car that sounds better then it performs.

100% agree. I’d even go further and say they should match Rolls-Royce or even approach Pagani in terms of interior refinement; really put the grand in “grand tourer”.
They’re just jealous of Tesla. Here’s Maserati’s total sales figures since 1998. Even in Maserati’s best years, they are still being outsold by Tesla nearly 2 to 1.
You realize that he drove the P1 at Yas Marina because that’s where the company made it available to the press right? They did not “copy” Harris. They probably drove it within hours of each other.
Hey, it would piss the purists off less than my idea which was to use the Bronco name on a raised-body AWD Focus hatchback that would be basically a Ford XV Crosstrek. But that would make sense to build in the same factory as the rest of the Focus line.
Why buy a E30 M3 when you can get an 1M for the same money?
What ... WTF. Who would do something like that?
Not my car, just ran across looking for the topic in question and found this interesting one. My car is a ‘61 Corvair.

It’s fully build. Fuck it, NP.
I was really hoping it would get the V6 and not the V8. Hopefully there is enough of a weight difference to improve handling.
Door to door with an M3, as long as there are no corners involved.
Might as well save a few more grand and get a ATS-V.
I hope I’m not in the minority when I say this:
I’m just surprised there’s a Neon in New England that hasn’t turned to a pile of rust yet.
Ford’s only diesel engine offering in their (2017) medium duty F-650s and F-750s, is the 6.7L Power Stroke. Why would they put an engine into medium duty truck, as the ONLY diesel engine option, if it was not up to the task?
With the gear reduction you simply don’t have the traction to put that much torque down if the first 2 and maybe 3 gears. You “need” that full torque when you’re at highway speeds pulling a load up a grade.
Despite what some say, Ford, you still have loyal supporters!
