Some type of Nissan

Not being snarky at all, but in what way did do better than SUVs or trucks out there?

And I do mean “heavily,” as the MSO HS generates 485 pounds of downforce at 150 mph.

Looks like they rattle-canned inside the trunk lid, though. That’s painful.

And I’d take the comparably-performing Focus every time.

Gasoline is no less flammable than batteries.

That’s so little considering he converted it from fwd to twin-turbo!

My first new car was a ‘98 Neon R/T. An ACR with a few comfort options (no Konis though). Handled like it was on rails, had the ACR interior and gearing and was great fun overall. Would have been nice to be able to keep it as a racer but alas couldnt afford to.

Right here, the best used car a teen can buy. Be it the earlier plymoth as pictured, or the later Dodge. Cheap, reliable, super good on gas, and when things do break, you can fix it on a limited budget. Also a blast to drive, pretty sure these were competitive in SCCA for a while, the sxt model, IIRC

just a note: typically old engines wear due to cylinder taper. People tend to think it’s “worn rings” but the piston rings are a lot harder than the bore material. Tapered cylinders can easily still have in-spec compression; the 6.9 IDI I had in my F-250 had 410-420 psi in all cylinders even though they were tapered

My guess is that the benz was already parallel parked, and mistook 1st for reverse

Just for a real example. Let’s say you want $120k Porsche and have the cash to buy it but instead you take out a 2% loan and invest that cash. If you average 7.5%/yr on your investments you would end up with $172,275 at the end of the 5th year then subtract the $7443 you paid in your auto loan interest and you are now

I saw a guy laying on his back under an E46 3 series (non-M) on the side of I95 in Pawtucket, RI the other day wailing on something underneath with a tire iron. I can’t imagine anything you could fix in that manner, so I’m assuming that was the moment he came to the same realization as you.

The cable probably didn’t break, it probably melted out of it’s sheath or one of the connecting components gave up in the heat.

They’re going to make “glue” out if it.

Ford and my local dealer Prater Ford have been very good to me. My 2016 GT350 is being replaced with a 2017 GT350R.

most powerful production muscle car, running 10s at the strip and going 171 mph on ice to name a few.

not sure how you quantify being a badass, thats pretty subjective.

for record lap times see: Viper ACR

But what about those bastards in front of you on the on ramp who refuse to start accelerating despite the fact that we’re entering a highway whos speed limit is double what you’re doing right now and GODDAMNIT I ONLY HAVE 90 OR SO WHP TO WORK WITH, STOP WAITING UNTIL THE LAST FUCKING SECOND TO SPEED UP TO-

If they can’t get enough air in that front end, nothing will do it.
