I want this.
I want this.
I just bought (on a nostalgic whim) a Pearl White PSP-3001 from someone in Minnesota. Is it from one of you knuckleheas?
The buildings on our street share a back alley with buildings on the next street over, our garages (and one gated parking pad for some reason) are all on the alley. Anyway, it’s a freezing cold, kind of snowy, very wet morning when I go to take some trash out. To my surprise, the guy who lives in the building across…
If you never watched Psych, you should. It aired from 2006 to 2014 on USA, plus a TV movie reunion, Psych: The Movie, in 2017. There was even a musical special. It’s on Amazon Prime Video right now. It follows novice sleuth Shawn Spencer, who convinces the Santa Barbara PD he is a psychic when they believe he is…
I took a chance and went to see Bohemian Rhapsody opening night. I’ve been a Queen fan for a long time, though not the most devoted, and I figured at the very least, it would have great music in it.
Went last night to see Halloween. The original was the first horror movie I saw, around the age of 10 or so, and it has been my favorite horror series since (yes, even the sequels that took the story completely off the rails). As you probably know, this is a sequel to the 1978 original, so you need to go in with your…
If your media credentials weren’t auto-renewed/approved (which they’ve been doing for a few years) media credential requests for Chicago Auto Show are now live!
I present to you, my second favorite home I’ve seen for sale in Chicago:
Mrs. Humpkins and I are going to see him tonight at Chicago Theatre. I have to say that after the stressful week this has been, particularly the last couple days, I’m much looking forward to a solid comedy show to start off the weekend.
In honor of this momentous occasion I shall share with you a one hit wonder that is special to me because I love Benny & Joon and because I walked down the aisle to a string quartet version of this song at my wedding. So, without further adieu, The Proclaimers I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)
Mrs. Humpkins and I were about to book a return trip to Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica - but a challenger has emerged. Anyone been to Curaçao and have any input? Looking to go in April ‘19 so weather at either place is not of much concern. We want to try new places in/around the Caribbean and Curaçao looks fantastic,…
After 13 months, our iron pipe & reclaimed wood bookshelves are complete. “Hey, Galileo, why’d it take 13 months?” You might ask, adding, “These look fairly straight forward.” Well, that’s a fair question and they are, to which I would respond, “Shut up.”
...but I suppose if you aren’t getting much. Spotted at the grocery store on Saturday.
Oppo, allow me to present to you Griswold. He was brought into the cat shelter at which we volunteer last Aug/Sep at the age of 1-2 months. Shortly thereafter another batch of kittens they brought in also brought in a serious bout of ringworm. So, after many months of waiting and visiting, deep cleans, meds and dips,…
I’ll get this out of the way now, sorry for not taking more pictures. And sorry for no GoPro footage, I don’t own one and had no way of setting up a phone to record either. Which, to be honest, is fine with me.
To thrash* these around the track, courtesy of Audi...YAY!
An incredible show, definitely one of the best shows I’ve seen (and I’ve seen a lot thanks to my wife). He sounded almost the same as he did 30 years ago. He danced around, seemingly with childlike enthusiasm and delight. He led the band with simple waves of his hand. He did an Elvis impersonation.
...considering we just bought a top of the line, $2,000 eliptical from Sears for under $900 including delivery and assembly. Next lowest price (not including deliver or assembly, mind you) was around $1,700. Also, they’ve been slowly closing up shop for, what, about 15 years now?
