Idles?

Could be weirder...

Drop by if you ever want to relive that.

The fact that they advertised all of the engine specs is amazing. Also very over square engine.

Don’t forget, you also have to figure out how to interject politics into every article!

You know I have had my HHR for 5 years now, I never realized thats what it was for....

My Volvo has the same thing.

What in his entire published history would make you imagine David doing anything in the most sensible way?

It’s not the adhesive that fails. The foam layer under the fabric disintegrates with age.

Ain’t NOTHIN wrong with this. And none of it’s too hard to fix. Mechanical animal, don’t think there’s a nanny more than some primitive ABS here.

T56 was never put in a C4.

You aren’t wrong, but I think some of your info may either be outdated, or in need of further investigation.

I looked up the numbers, and the ‘97 C5 weighs less than the ‘95 C4. I never would have guessed that. The C5 just looks bigger to me, and cars usually get heavier from one generation to the next.

the only plastic part was the coupler/sleeve from the oil pump driveshaft (which runs off the cam) to the oil pump. that may have disintegrated. but that is more of a mass produced Small block chevy thing. LT1/4 uses same shaft & pump as any SBC. the LT1 has GREAT oiling. I got 4400+ track/race miles out of my last

NP, I never understood the hate of C4's. This model was a bridge between the absolutely ancient C3 platform to the modern C5 to C7 platforms that followed. This started with the Cross Fire engine with 205hp (1984) to the LT1s that followed. This is a great value IMO.

One of those showed up to a local autocross driven by a fairly green driver and ended up hurting a lot of feelings that day. C4s are no joke.

So you have used Boxster/Miata/Z3 money for a two seater with a six speed and 300hp. I am not saying the others don’t have their charms, but you get a lot of performance bang for your buck here, also a great choice for a track day rat.  Easy Nice Price.

“Some day, all vehicles will be this fragile."

The atmosphere is indeed a complex system, and messing with things intentionally can still have extremely unintended consequences.

I believe SuckItMcGee’s point was that contrary to how it is presented in the post, the article doesn’t say the total number of guns found increased 3X. The rate increased 3X. (15 per million versus 5 per million).
