“The Plymouth Voltaire Roadrunner Was Actually Good”

Some things simply AREN’T political.

They dropped the Magnum in order to build Challengers....it’s surprising how many people don’t realize the Challenger is a gussied up 300.

Unfortunately, they’re not so good at keeping the head surface firmly against the deck surface....but excellent at separating money from a wallet.

It just occurred to me...

The clamshell hood on my C4 is one of my favorite features of the car...that, and the spinning headlights.

We had an HHR that used that same sort of setup to “illuminate” the console at night. It was annoying.

Reminds me of Wendy Bagwell’s “Ralph Bennetts Volkswagen” comedy routine...

Likely removed truck beds, because the beds were replaced with tool box beds.

The headlamp and turn signal are going to need to be replaced, I’d put money on it.”

Common problem on pretty much everything built in the past 30 years or so.  The headliner material is cloth with a foam backing, and over time, the foam breaks down to dust, leaving the fabric nothing to hold onto.

An irony, considering around 80% of a C5 is C4 DNA....

I bought a ‘93 a little over 2 years ago, competitive in price to this one, and it’s been a bunch of fun. I did get bitten by the OptiSpark bug after about a year, but found someone other than MSD that has a quality unit that’s vented like the later LT1’s were from the factory. I drive mine very regularly, and have

Norelco built nicer looking stuff.

It was cheap because it was cheaply made.

I’ve ridden BART a few times over the years...farts are generally one of the lesser olfactory assaults generally encountered.

A DeLorean.  Gull wing doors, all that angularity, and stainless showing on the unpainted bits.  Do it right, and most would never guess what’s underneath.

I don’t think anyone would want acid rain....the point, though, is that the atmosphere is a complex system, and even good things we do have unintended consequences.  The fixation has been almost solely on CO2, but there’s a good chance we’ve exacerbated the problem with a previous effort we’re overlooking.

I wonder if it’s ever occurred to climate scientists that that massive effort to reduce sulfur dioxide emissions in the ‘80’s and ‘90’s to stop acid rain has had a warming effect?

My ‘88 5.7 TPI IROC-Z appreciated the shout out.....which by the way, cost me less than $9500, and is far more fun.
