If you do actually rebuild, I’d be inclined NOT to do a .030 overbore, unless the cylinder walls are severely tapered, and require it. Do the minimum overbore to get straight walls, and most likely you’ll have enough meat in the block for one more rebuild, should you keep it a long time.
You reminded me of a hot rodder’s maxim my father taught me about rebuilding engines:
Rebuild yours. It’s got nothing at all to do about “originality” or “value”, but everything to do with reliability, and knowing what you actually have.
IMHO, the only way Brosnan comes off as bond being campy is if you forget the years Roger Moore was in the role.
