Yeah, I've read a lot of Doctor Who writing, but these were always great because they line up with a lot of my particular feelings about the show.

Stephen Merchant? I…could actually see that working. Could Karl Pilkington be his Geoff Peterson?
If Kristen Bell isn't on the final episode, I'll punch things.
Sometimes I wonder if he's gotten tired of being known as the Doctor Who guy. That or CBS is tired of him talking about it.
He could bring Geoff with him! It wouldn't be the first time the Master had a robot sidekick.
I really need this to happen. He's been surprisingly quiet about Capaldi's casting on the show.
I'm super bummed about this. He really carried over an energy and demeanor from his punk band days to hosting a late night show. You got the sense that anything could happen on his show.
I thought the theme of the episode seemed to be "people who lose their ability to take care of themselves". The Mayor was lost without his parents money, Lance got so emotional he couldn't do his job and the director of the perfume commercial just couldn't do anything.
The Pie Hole is great, too, but I always wanted to eat at Der Waffle Haus from Dead Like Me. What is it about Bryan Fuller's shows and exquisitely delicious-looking food? Even the people meat in Hannibal looks tasty!
I think it said a lot that they got more jokes out of Mark's name than any of his character traits.
He's a big enough Who fan that I think he'd be willing to move. I know I read an interview quote from somewhere where he said that he'd definitely like the job if he was asked.
Yeah, they've basically taken Jaime's arc and thrown a grenade in it. It's going to be really hard to find Jaime at all sympathetic going forward. And I've been wondering for the past season and a half or so what the showrunners were going to do about Shae now that they've changed her character so much that Tyrion…
I feel like I end up sticking up for "The Unicorn and the Wasp" in the comments for every one of these reviews, but I really think it's worth watching, if for no other reason than it's just really funny. The CGI wasp is pretty crappy, but Tennant and Tate were never better as a team than they are in that episode.
"The Next Doctor" is a case of a really great episode getting saddled with a really dumb Cybermen plot. See also: "Closing Time"
Yeah, there's a reason why Moffat's episodes during RTD's run are the highpoints of the new series. I've always thought that if you could find someone who had the good qualities of both, you'd have a perfect Doctor Who showrunner. Which is why I'm really curious about Neil Cross's episode for the next series, because…
I think the thing about the two eras of the show is that RTD really got how companions worked but never really understood the Doctor. Whereas Moffat is great at knowing how the Doctor thinks but struggles to write the companions. Which is why RTD's show was always a show about the companions whereas Moffat's show has…
"Chimes" is about as perfect Doctor Who story as you could ask for. The great thing about it is how it can be incredibly creepy and hilarious at the same time. I don't know if I've ever laughed harder than I did at "Oh Freddie, to be killed by your own Chrysler! Or Bentley!"
I've always thought that making River Song the Ponds' daughter and bringing back them for the first half of series 7 are the two great mistakes of Moffat's run. River Song worked best when she wasn't a mystery and explaining her existence meant there was more plot than there was really time for in series 6. And the…
I've often wondered what the hell Davies was thinking when decided that the Master was going to turn the Doctor into Dobby. The only thing I can think of is that he was trying to find a way to make the Master's habit of shrinking people seem less ridiculous. But he got it REALLY wrong.
The fact that we took the time to watch Alison rehearse for her play is what makes this show great. It could be nothing but nonstop plot, but it also takes the time for these great little character moments as well.
