I’ve seen Rebels and Ahsoka makes me feel like I have very little investment in two major characters I’ve seen a lot of and liked before.

Exactly right. People defend the show by saying, “It give you all the information you need!” And that’s kind of true. It just gives you information, in the most bland, schematic way possible, not even attempting to make you CARE about anything.

The season is HALF OVER and this is what they did with it.  It’s literally impossible to be good at this point. 

“How can constant lightsaber fights feel this dull?”

For people keeping score, the season is now HALFWAY over! Jesus, the pacing here is dreadful.

Sometimes I will start reading an article on this site and not pay attention to who wrote it, and then about halfway through, at some painfully unfunny attempt at humor I’ll go “Oh I bet this is Barsanti” and scroll up to find my suspicion confirmed.

Yeah, seems like you could just as easily frame this as “we’re not quite back to pre-pandemic levels, but we’re definitely trending in that direction.”

Only relevant question, still unanswered:

What, you mean there should be *more* to reporting than “BE MAD ABOUT THIS”?

I don’t know where you get ‘reboot,’ its either a standalone or its X, which, when you say reserved for the Skywalker line, well, we already have Rey calling herself Skywalker...
