The The Last Of Us director is trying his hand at reviving the long-dead franchise

Sometimes I will start reading an article on this site and not pay attention to who wrote it, and then about halfway through, at some painfully unfunny attempt at humor I’ll go “Oh I bet this is Barsanti” and scroll up to find my suspicion confirmed.

Yeah, seems like you could just as easily frame this as “we’re not quite back to pre-pandemic levels, but we’re definitely trending in that direction.”

Only relevant question, still unanswered:

What, you mean there should be *more* to reporting than “BE MAD ABOUT THIS”?

So, this will be the AVC’s third article lamenting the scourge of this song while not bothering to explain the reason for its “ascendency” in presence, leaving it seeming like a ‘sui generis’ hit arising from general right-wing online folk.

Everybody looks bad here. Both sides of the tweets, the person writing it up for AVClub, and me for commenting on it.

Whether that’s permanent or not, Doja’s comfortability inching away from pop stardom

The only “shocking” thing about the ending is that io9 would call it “shocking” in a desperate bait for a few more clicks. Corporation whose franchises are flailing teases mixture of franchises. Yawn.

I’m ok with this, Lucas squandered his opportunity for whatever reason (probably the toy deal) to give the world Prime Luke in those 16 years between OT and PT. We got a couple Ewok TV movies instead.

The truly wild thing about Filoni’s characters to me is that most of them are the ‘original characters’, just visually d
