What are they finishing? Ashoka ran off, had adventures, became Fulcrum. Anakin fell to the darkside, wiped out out the Jedi, and the Empire was established. Obi-Wan took Luke into hiding to later train him to over throw the Emperor. This story’s been told, and done. 

“I’m not sure what I would add to fix it” - then maybe the key isn’t to add, but to subtract/limit, by making it a strictly one-season show a la 11/22/63. That way, they could get a big name or two, and promise to not try to yank around viewers indefinitely.

Maybe under Jill’s leadership io9 will go back to not writing absurd promo copy for corporations shitting on the things we love, maybe.

...between the comics and its other exclusive shows, there’s probably more than enough value to get people to sign up when the DC Universe service goes live later this fall.

Mask of Zorro was awesome! I saw it three times in the theater. It got bonus points for cat sounds layered into the explosion sounds.

Uh, I love Y: The Last Man, but I’m not sure I can handle looking at that guy’s face for a whole series. And was there really no American actor available? Not that I mind if the performance is great, but it’s kinda weird.

Sooooo.. might it finally be time to cover The Last Ship, where stories actually progress, and which is a legitimately good post-apocalyptic action show, unlike all those zombie nothings we get endless coverage of?

Eventually they have to move the story forward... right? Right?

Only because her attachment to her mother is never in doubt. Even given her various separations from her father, being separated from her mother probably never even occurred to her.

Hope was told her mother died in a plane crash at a young age, and her father still raised her. Quill watched his mom die, had no dad, and then was abducted by aliens and never visited earth for the next 2 decades.  Apples and oranges maybe?

Indeed. This is a guy that made one mediocre Wolverine movie, and one kinda decent one, that was way longer but not much better than a hundred other aging gunfighter action pictures. He’s no visionary.
