Hogwash; I’m sure she’s heard of it. And it makes sense for her, as a promoter of the series, not to mention it, but that doesn’t excuse the lack of reporting from The AV Club.

MZB should obviously be canceled. But that doesn’t mean the fans who enjoyed her work should be treated as if their experiences don’t exist, or don’t count.

Athurian lore is kinda weird in that the “Golden Age of Camelot” lasts less than the reign of one monarch. Makes one wonder what makes him so damn special to begin with... :P

1) So... The Mists of Avalon?

It’s not an AI ban, it’s a “synth”/android ban - which, given his mobile emitter, the Doctor might qualify as, but I’m sure he’d be grandfathered in. Now that the dumb Mass Effect plot line is over, probably best to forget all that entirely... :P

“sitting a socially distant amount of space apart” - no, because they’re indoors. If The AV Club is going to present itself as a bastion of covid safety, which I have no objection to, it’s got to be on point about it.

To be fair to Mags, I’m not sure how far ahead he was thinking there. IIRC, he saw an opportunity and seized it.

“your own, totally illiterate dog [...] a Jack Russell terrier with a bizarre obsession for classic works of literature” - see, this is how not to write a “funny” Newswire. Either all dogs are lame for being uncultured, or Wishbone was weird for being so well-read. Pick one angle and stick with it, because confusing

Yep. They’re really just trolling us for free advertising at this point.

Indeed - and the thing is, Dark Phoenix did this again! Apocalypse and Magneto trashed many of the world’s major cities, and in the very next movie, humans and mutants are chummier than ever. Que?!

Agreed - but, The Last Stand came first. ;)

This brings us back to The Last Stand’s most under-discussed flaw. At the end of X2, Magneto tried to get Xavier to kill all the world’s humans, resulting in global psychic distress. You’d think that would lead to, oh, serious political and societal reprecussions, from all the resulting car crash deaths alone, but no,

HARD PASS

Oh, yay, yet another series/movie ignoring the most interesting era - the Galactic Civil War itself. Great...

Wonder Woman, “smart”? The movie where the only two people on a sailboat decide to sleep at the same time? The one where a 1910s American describes marriage as something a judge officiates, rather than a priest? The one where an immortal knows all the world’s languages, but doesn’t know what marriage is? The one that

The only memorable thing about the Deathly Hallows movies is... um... no, they’re just plain mediocre. Lame books make for lame flicks.

Kidding! It’s just as bad as I thought it’d be.

No, that’s not the point. The point is the odd implication that female objectification is laudable if and only if the female is trans.

Within the context of SI and modeling, good for her!

“Unfortunately, for now this looks to be simply an intermittent thing from Larson”
