For the love of gawd! I heard this in the news yesterday and I was Waiting and Hoping for Jez to comment. Not only are pregnant woman not able to make informed decisions for themselves regarding alcohol consumption, woman who aren’t EVEN pregnant are now getting lectured. What the fukking fuk. Okay, so, I feel like if one doesn’t like the results of “the academy,” perhaps one might consider not participating in its shenanigans? Maybe one shouldn’t be actively promoting it by hosting said biased ceremony, or even addressing it at all in the media?

When I was in college about 5 years ago, I almost died after visiting a Catholic clinic; I didn’t know it was Catholic, or maybe I don’t remember, but I didn’t think it would matter in any case (BTW the hospital that ended up saving my life was also Catholic and I knew it, but was apparently less extremist.
