yes.

You happy now?

I have a hard time seeing how it is feminist to believe that women are small beautiful flowers that cannot be angry and is behaving like virgin Mary herself. Or how grouping up half of the human population and saying “this is how they behave when they play games”.

Is it sexist or feminist to think “girls aren’t toxic?” Because I’m leaning towards the former.

My Hero Academia is one for me. I watched the first season as it aired, and while it did have it’s moments I enjoyed, I just couldn’t stand Deku crying so damn much and so damn hard. That really turned me off, so I dropped the second season a few episodes in. A couple weeks before season 3 aired, and I gave in to all

Assassins Creed is kind of the legacy of Prince of Persia.  That being said, they could easily incorporate the “magic sand” from Prince of Persia into AC universe, as it could be one of the ancient alien relics.

The quality of the CGI could make or break this movie. We already know there’s a number of great storylines in the original Gundam universe, but we the audience really need to feel the reality of the mobile suits without it seeming like a glorified video game onscreen.

I think there’s a brief recap episode on crunchyroll that gets you up to speed on the previous arcs, but the phantom blood and battle tendency are both pretty short and worth watching imo.

This show is almost impossible to sell to someone because there’s just no easy place to start. I tried with my wife. “You’d love the first part. It’s short and gothic. It’s about this guy and his dickhead adopted brother who becomes a vampire.” But then I had no way to transition that into the Pillar Men or Stardust

And King (and DC) show once and for all that he doesn’t truly understand Batman. It’s not his misery that gives him strength, it’s his commitment and sheer will.

If this was the end of the story I’d be annoyed, but as a mid-point it makes for interesting potential.

I am really glad that they did not have Drummer sacrifice herself the same way that Bull did when they gave her Bull’s arc. I got attached to her character quite a bit this season, and I am really looking forward to watching where she goes next. Perhaps the head of Medina Station? That seems a logical fit and would

I loved that they made sure we get to understand everyone’s point of view. That they didn’t make Ashford some power hungry villain. He was just trying to save the rest of humanity the best he could. Even Drummer understood that. That in the end they had to do it on fate and Anna was the one to convince all those

I feel like your entire response was merely to take a jab at The Last Jedi. :p

I do like that they’re only focusing on some plot threads in the trailer, whilst clearly leaving out whole swathes of equally interesting stuff - no sign of Shrike so far, for example.

I suppose I’m a capitalist. At least, my forty-plus year career and retirement portfolio seems to suggest it. But I read “The Communist Manifesto” and I think about this a lot. Some of those thoughts that are pertinent to io9:

My takeaway from Marx was that, while his goals were largely in the right place, he seemed to fundamentally misunderstand human nature. For example, the grand plan involved an endgame where the new post-revolution leaders, after acheiving power, give it up and distribute it back to the people they led, a thing which

what about the tens of BILLIONS of people killed by Capitalism?
