No Toyota? I was under the impression that older Land Cruiser would be on the short list. Or they are too expensive.

I do miss my 2010 Trail Edition. And the KDSS is mostly an hydraulic swaybar, pretty easy to lift( I did have a 2.5 inch lift). The Limited as the XReas suspension which need to be removed for a lift.
When adding maintenance and insurance costs, and the possibility to swap car anytime it may make some sense to someone.
Change the rubber brake line for new one or even stainless steel one, that will make your brake less squishy. It made a big difference on my 87 Land Cruiser.
I bought a 2018 Outback, I also considered a Golf Wagon All-Track, but the lack of space behind my seat(I’m tall) from the Golf was what make me choose.
David, last year I went to get a Land Cruiser with my 4Runner, a 15 hrs round trip. It took me about 48hrs, with a foot snowfall, a broken suspension on a saturday night (after midnight), slippery road and a trailer that was only willing to push me in the ditch. Never been scared like that behind the wheel.
Front and rear winch? Not bad, not bad. Wish more manufacture provide this as an. option
I have(had) so many Land Cruiser shirts...
Halogen bulb heat up the housing better than led, which can help driving in icy rain or snow storm. Just because of that I didn’t switch to led on my old land cruiser.
First it’s a FJ60(fender vent, 12V, choke, interior, headlights washer,...). But I agree that a manual is interesting, if its the 5 speed. Honestly, if not rusted, it’s can be a great score, at least foe me in the rust belt.
Too bad for the scout. I'll bring a trailer to help you get rid of it.
Everytime I see a 2WD 4Cyl Tacoma, they always being use has it should be: bed is full or scratched from hauling so much stuff. Then you see a F150 next to it with all that chrome...
I agree, but how about not screwing a customer vehicle. How stable is to have a single floor jack in the back (which I guess sit on the differential) that is also on wheels. If it was my truck, I wouldn't want to fall to the ground...
It never happen until its happened. It's like saying I do nothing criminal until a cop catch me...
They are fun and capable:
This is a recent pictures of a customer new truck changing tires and standing on 3 floors jacks (Pictures from an online forums):
This make me think about the Mazda 5 or Kia Rondo. It's looks about the same size and configuration.
In my younger years we had a passenger in the car remove one of his shoes and sticking out the window (don’t ask why, I do not know...) to let the other driver know how shitty they were.
I was rebuilding my Land Cruiser front axle in my garage and I had to put the truck on stands for it. I’ve successfully removed the passenger side, but when came to the driver side, it’s was longer than the other side and the axle shaft was hitting my electric heater / wall. I had to remove the heater and made a small…
As French is my native language and using it since 33 years, I’ve never heard “Pourquoi oui mon ami?”, which I guess translate from\to “Why yes my friend?” or something similar. It make more sense to say “Pourquoi pas mon ami?” that can freely translate to “Why not my friend?”
