Uh, no, This show is awesome in it’s own right. Anime doesn’t need to be super serious and dark all the time. There are anime out there that cater to that genre (Ghost in the shell, Ergo Proxy, Death Note).

It was funny, dark, the missions were awesome, money actually felt important, each area felt unique, the story was fun, the music was excellent and added to the overall Miami Beach feel, and most importantly the voice cast was ridiculously amazing!
