I think we are in rare company with requiring the Pledge in schools and some political events, it’s like us and China and that’s about it. 

I can tell you that from an outsider perspective, many non-Americans view the pledge of allegiance and flag humping by Americans as being deeply weird.

Why when seeing this do I think that this of all instances of Police abuse will result in the officer facing the maximum possible criminal charges instead of paid administrative leave and a prosecutor declining to pursue charges?
