@pauljones: I went through all of what you detailed above. Took my licensing test at the Los Gatos DMV (which included parallel parking between a Ferrari and a Porsche) with a hard-ass DMV lady. I still got a 90. I laughed at how easy it was to get my CA DL because I had just completed the SCCA Driver School.

@superveloce: YES! Exactly. I would rather drive through the center of Paris on a crowded rush hour than mosey over the Grapevine on a Saturday afternoon.

If the moron in the Corolla had simply stuck with the traffic that moved away, instead of sitting there staring at the Bentley while talking on the cell phone... the other moron could have pulled the Bug out without damaging anything other than the nose.
