@Rob Keehner: Actually they created a special class because hybrid is not eligible for points, as hybrid technology is not yet included in the GT or GT2 (or LMP2 for that matter) regulations.

@Nürburgring: Varsity Jalop: Technically, it's an LP550-2 ... the 2 is for 2 wheel drive ... the mythical RWD Lambo Gallardo. That is the reason the Balboni is the baddest-assed Lambo available now.
@Nik Lal: Having owned (and repeatedly repaired) a biturbo, I can say that all Biturbos deserve a good bit worse. I would gladly kick nuts on all of the people responsible for designing that atrocity. On the other hand, the five minutes that it actually ran and drove without breaking was a pretty glorious 5 minutes.…
Strange synchronicity. Just watched that Bounty Hunter movie wherein it was revealed that suicides generally go feet first, whereas "divers" are usually murdered.

@Elhigh: I disagree. Self-preservation is a pretty good motivator to cause you to attempt to shed someone who has jumped onto your moving vehicle.
