Yeah, FFV is way better. It has a job system! It's the precursor to Tactics, and Tactics is the best Final Fantasy.

What I had a problem with was Ni no Kuni. It was pretty, and that's all it had going for it.

In this game you get to have a slap fight on a giant cannon.

I would add in Skies of Arcadia, Grandia 2 and Vagrant Story myself. Some of the most fun the JRPG sub-genre has provided me.
