Yeah, while I understand the psychology that drives the feeling that a manual safety somehow makes the gun safer, it really doesn’t. Don’t point your gun at anything or put your finger on the trigger until you plan to fire it and you won’t shoot anyone by mistake.

The bit about Glocks “accidentally” firing is always entertaining. I’ve yet to read of a single proven instance of a Glock going bang all by themselves. guns shouldn’t need safeties. Trigger disipline needs to be a fundamental lesson for all troops/law enforcement. “Don’t touch the trigger unless you want to kill whats in front of you.” I’ve seen to many law enforcement officers put their finger immediately on the trigger rather than along the frame.
