I can live with a bullet point and the occasional highlight of fake Kardashian drama, but if Dirt Bag is going to turn into regular recaps of whatever nonsense most of us have actively chosen not to watch then I’m out.

The original was awful. I expect this one to be too. Not to mention the changes made to the movie with the seeming intent of appeasing Chinese resentment over the existence of Japan and Taiwan. (I understand the latter, I guess, but the former? It’s been near-100 years since WW2.)

Obligatory...

100% must-see on the biggest screen/loudest theater you can find. 

But wait - how does it fail to address traditionalistic gender roles and refuse to subvert them?

I can’t keep track. Do we actually believe AVClub reviews anymore? Is this movie actually good? Does any staff here actually get what the community enjoyed anymore?

Am I the only person who’s legitimately 30-70% less likely to watch this for the simple reason that Miles Teller is in it in a major role? It’s fine if it’s just me.

Eh, as long as they don’t mess with Squirrel Girl.  I don’t need some new Doreen firing squirrel shaped energy blasts out of her wrist-squirrels.

Her statement about her kids being her priority is rich considering she sees each of them 1 day a week and doesn’t pay for schools or other primary parent expenses. It’s all performative. 

This. She’s been a hanger-on of this family for a decade now. She’s just mad the well dried up after she dumped their son. Go get a job and raise your kids, ma’am.

The fact that these two have kids is just depressing.

She’s just disgruntled. And if she really cared about her KIDS, she wouldn’t go forth with the appeal; a jury didn’t find in her favor, not the judge. But keep being you Blac Chyna.

Look at that picture. You’re telling me Chyna ever gives that guy the time of day if he has a different last name? She already cashed that check, so take care of the money you made and move on.  Yeesh.

Is this a good review? Pretty objectively no.

It’s a cliche to say this at this point but still, it really should’ve been named “Live. Die. Repeat.” from the start.

I think we, as a society, should demand that Edge of Tomorrow win an academy award.   I know it came out years ago but I don’t care.  That movie is perfect

Wendy Williams is trash.  I hope she loses all of her money and we never have to see or hear from her again.

Marvel movies are excellent at what they aspire to be ... entertaining (Thor: Dark World aside).
