i agree with your conclusion but really what about simply saying ‘trans man?’ in a joke is ‘indefensible’? if trans people are going to fit in in this world that means accepting that sooner or later someone might make a joke about you, as we do with every group. its not the end of the world and its not indefensible.…

That being said, sampling as art runs the gamut from Public Enemy (5 james brown samples going on at once with a million other things sprinkled in) to p diddy (take an existing song and drop the vocal track)
