Not sure, but Clarksons 928 was a GT which came out in ‘89. Perhaps the ‘89 GT had more room than the ‘80 928 when the Magnum show started. New seats were added in ‘85.

Good post. The Porsche 928 was supposed to be the Magnum car but Porsche refused to modify it (so he could fit in it!). So they went with the 308 GTS instead .

Magnum did some “off-roading” back then too.

I am a Porsche fan and really didn’t like the look of the Panamera. I did recently see a facelifted Panamera GTS with spoiler and actually didn’t mind it at all.

We’ve done our windows and put in a steel door. The most satisfying reno was upgrading the inside of the garage. Stress gone forever, in so many ways. Easily worth the money for us.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the cost cutting was a result of diesel-gate. I imagine all units of VW will have to cut their budgets significantly to deliver profits to shareholders. I was saying the same thing since I read about it and then saw one. Took it out on a test drive one day and bought one. They’ve really engineered this vehicle well.
