I think Doug missed one big point. That old 911’s are (relatively) extremely reliable. The 911 owner gets in his old 911 and drives. The MG owner gets in his car and hopes everything stays together for the whole ride.

I’m not sure that will happen, in part, because 911’s are more reliable than other cars built at the same time in history and there is a massive availability of parts when they need replacing. These things contribute to the demand and are difficult to replicate.
Well said. And the old ones are likely more reliable than any other car manufactured at that same time which would add to the demand/value
That guy sounds like a dick. The RX7 is awesome for the same reason a 911 is... a company that is dedicated to engineering a different car because they are passionate (as are their customers).
I agree with all your points except one.
I’m re-reading your posts trying to understand your point.
Thank you for this. It’s like someone wants to believe a Cayman is being held back specifically so they can blame 911 owners
I love how the people walking across the street look over when they hear shots and just keep walking casually. Russians are a tough crowd.
My buddy and I were in the middle of a roadtrip across the US (from Canada, 21000 km’s, 18 States) and needed the oil changed in LA. We drove away from the garage and 15 minutes later the radio died, then the dash lights, then the power steering and power brakes while the engine was still running. We managed to stop…
The only SUV I would ever consider buying...
Agreed..... this story is not about a murderer but still a great Jalop story
Love Chris. I think this is my favorite bit. Chippendales being a very close second.
Good catch (I had to watch it again to see it). Looks like two men stopped and watched. Maybe they were two old to want to get involved.
Nicely done sir!
I wondered about that. I assumed the success of the technology would depend on the clarity of the lines on the road (ie how recently they had been painted on). Did you find this?
