Take the red line to Tenleytown, grab a bike and ride to Massachusetts Ave, than down Embassy Row, past all of the beautiful Embassies (you’ll feel like you’re in Europe, and it’s all downhill) to DuPont Circle. From there you can either hop back on the metro or bike to Farragut North, than ride past the White House

Old Ebbitt is a DC institution, beautiful interior. RBG’s probably out of town for summer recess, but you never know! Sleepy DC is growng into quite the world class city. If the humidity is tolerable use Capital Bikeshare to explore. You can rent by the hr, and stations are everywhere. Have a wonderful time!

Yep, their basement bar, Off The Record. Also, Old Ebbitt Grill.

Precisely. Some senate staffers have privately admitted their bosses wanted to vote no, so McCain gave them cover. Murkowski & Collins were already on the record as no votes, so they needed a third. He’s dying of cancer, and flew 2,000 miles to do the right thing. Cut the guy a tiny bit of slack. Good job Mav.

Congress can’t stop Mueller because he’s under the DOJ, Executive branch of govt vs Legislative. It’s unclear if Trump could issue pardons in furtherance of a crime. In this case the crime would be obstruction of justice. That would be a question for the Supreme Ct.

Interesting point. Another important consideration is whether a president can pardon HIMSELF. It’s an open question. On the bright side, pardons only apply to federal charges, not state, and I’m sure NY has some applicable laws on the books. Sic em New York!!

Are you sure about that? When I was in law school we learned that an attempted crime is still a crime. Pretty sure that’s still true.

Why thank you! I studied at Jawlliard.

If I had a chin like this

“like he’s anything more than a spoiled little airhead who owes everything he has to the money his awesome daddy swiped from other people.”

I think, as somebody else suggested, it’s a cheap ploy to ingratiate himself to the “pro life” community, a la Terry Schiavo. Also, a good opportunity to undermine the concept of socialized medicine by dark insinuations about “death panels”, as the debate over health care rages here in America, and support for a

I think that it’s an example, as in the word being used in a sentence.

Aaaand this gem about Hillary. Like dude, you don’t pee & poo?
