But, he hadn’t exhausted his appeals, so why give up hope now? The timing, literally a week after a pretty huge legal victory, does seem strange.
As the proud holder of six figure student loan debt, I’d personally prefer the affluent 50 yr old dad over the youthful “fun” dad! But, to each their own. Btw, I can appreciate your concern for the need for parental stamina seeing as how you have three kids under the age of six. Whew!

All fair points. Here’s the thing though; kids are damn expensive (have you seen college tuitions??), and the world is mad competitive. There’s something to be said for the advantages of having a mature, established father. I’m not gonna advocate for 70, because that’s pushing it unless modern medicine greatly…
