Maybe they can bring back CGI Bob Hope.

Loved Kimmel’s teasing about Nicole Kidman’s AMC campaign.
I typically enjoy Kimmel’s hosting. He’s the next Billy Crystal in my eyes: amusing, the right balance of cutting when needed, not above goofy skits or videos, never too cringy. Not perfect by any means, but out of any hosts in recent memory, I think he fits…
It appears the current Speaker of the House had a supporting role in this film.
Today, in articles that didn’t need to be written....
He did warn about spoilers...
There’s a whole lot of effusive language in this review. Either Phil went too low with the B+ or he’s dying to be quoted in promos and please the studio.
I love the Russos for their numerous contributions to TV comedy and the MCU, but they don’t have a great track record framing action. I hope they get inventive with the camera this time around.
Otherwise, this is just Gray Man... again.
I sometimes found Quantumania difficult to look at, less so because of the quality (or lack thereof) of the VFX and more because it was just MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE for 2 hours.
I’m not even sure I can accept the premise. Andor and Mando might both be in the Star Wars universe, but they are different in nearly every way, so much so that I can’t even incorporate “lessons learned” from Andor into what to expect from Mando.
I finally caught all of H&CF a few years ago when it was on Netflix, and I am happy to go on the record that it’s one of the best shows I’ve seen in years. Woefully underappreciated.
OK, this actually looks kinda awesome. I was expecting something along the lines of Halt and Catch Fire with Tetris, but I’m here for late 80s Soviet espionage madness.
We let Trump be president for four years. I assure you we can imagine.
Oh I know! I’m saying as early as Phase 4 they were already revealing the Kang and Secret Wars are the big issues all the way at the end of the saga.
During Phases 1-3 we had to parse out what was happening and it was more exciting.
I support your thesis. The Infinity Stones run was so expertly paced with nice little nuggets pepper throughout and post-credit scenes that sometimes made us say, “WHAT?!” We were deep into Phase 2 before we even realized Thanos and the stones was the big picture.
But here’s Marvel, announcing the next two Avengers…
Hey, maybe you should give away tons of the plot in your review. That’s what’s been missing from AVC.
I could see the “true fan” scenario playing out. People tend to think of Cavill as the hunk he is, but he’s actually a nerd’s nerd who loves fantasy content and books, makes videos about building gaming PCs, etc.
If he actually is a difficult misogynist, this makes The Man from Uncle a petri dish of misogyny.
I’ll bet you a kidney Christian Bale shows up in some capacity.
I dig my Disney bundle. I probably use Hulu more than any streaming service (thanks, Frasier).
In fairness, the MCU succeeded with B- or C-level characters because other studios held the rights to the primo stuff.
Levi is his middle name. Ironically, he said he’s lost work because casting directors assumed he was Jewish.
