Sometimes it’s just how people talk. You tend to imitate who you are around, and when a mass amount of young people do it others subconsciously start doing it. It’s not as bad as people say, I’d rather a little fry than full on valley girl or airhead “like” “like” “like.”

Every male super hero has a love interest. Captain America and Peggy Carter, Superman and Lois, Iron Man and Pepper, Batman and Rachel. I haven’t watched a single super hero movie without a love interest.

To be fair in the MCU, New York is the last place I’d want to live after the Chitari invasion. Maybe that drove some costs down.
