The Ford Flex gets way too much love on this site. It looks like shit, and it’s not a good car by any metric. Its only redeeming quality is being a ‘wagon’ in a market undersaturated with wagons, but nobody’s going to pay $13k for this example of the species.

Wait, that’s for lock cylinders?

Well, this certainly doesn’t appear to be a needlessly expensive feature that replaces a many-decades old solution that already works.

If I know it’s going to snow later/overnight, I simply bring my brush inside beforehand so I can avoid needing to brush around the door with my glove/sleeve. I also just leave the brush at the door so I don’t leave without it.

I have a 13 Durango that I bought from Hertz Rent 2 Buy in January of 2015. It had 40K miles on it, and is now at 140K miles.  I’ve not had any major problems with it. I just made my last payment on it and plan to keep it for a while. Figure I’d like to get to 200K or 250K miles on it.

I work for Hertz. The program is called “Rent-to-Buy”! The only cars I would be cautious of would be the hot rods ( the Hemi Chargers, Challengers, Mustang Gt’s, and Camaro SS) we had quite a few renters that thought they were drag racers, and NASCAR drivers.

I think Hertz sales let’s you rent before you buy. So you get a 3 day test drive of the actual car you are considering and it’s free if you do end up buying

That would bother me less. Someone depending on their car to make a living is going to take care of it, and for sure I have never had an Uber driver who was any sort of hoon.

That advice is....(•_•) / ( •_•)>⌐■-■ / (⌐■_■)...right on target.

Under no circumstance should anyone buy a Dodge Dart

I think this is a product of terrible headlights. Headlights are so bad that bright DRLs can seem like regular headlights. My wife drives a 2008 Acura RDX and it has better headlights than most new cars and it’s using “old” HID/projector technology, but I would consider Acura a leader when it comes to headlight tech.

Can the IIHS tackle DRL LEDs that are so bright the driver thinks their headlights are on even when they’re not? I run into this all the time now, because dashboards are always lit, even with the headlights off, and DRLs are so bright the owners think their lights are on. I’ve been stuck behind someone without their

What kind of “experts” don’t suggest a Honda Accord Sport 2.0T which is a similar motor to the Type R.   Comes in a Manual Transmission and is a great family sedan and what I’d expect would be Honda reliability.

Not Great, Not Terrible joke. 3.6 / 5 stars.

I think we’re far closer to solving nuclear fusion than convincing Karens to use the correct lane.

If we properly educated American drivers about lane etiquette and, well, driving, there’s no reason our interstate highways couldn’t be a fast as the German Autobahn. They’re designed for aircraft landings and troop transport, after all.
