Good point. That’s a fair opinion, and I don’t know if there’s any way to quantitatively say which effect it has either way. I do agree though that that type of situation occurring does indeed make sense.

I’m inclined to agree in the grander scheme of things, but in the context of a HS major expressiveness, during games is pretty rare in general. So, it was a pretty hype moment on stream that a lot of hyper-sensitive people within the HS community took the wrong way.
I mean, it is literally completely different from CNN admonishing neo-Nazism lol. If you think these two things are comparable, I’m gonna have to ask you to stop reaching.
Highlighting and reporting on a misguided controversy is a way of saying, “Hey, getting super upset about that was pretty fucking stupid. Everyone would probably be happier if you guys just chilled the fuck out, thanks.”
Yeah, bat flipping in baseball is actually a really good analogy. Even if it’s not meant to be BM or hateful, people lose their shit over it.
Yeah! They have in-game emotes that do have a spam limit. :D
Yeah, HS fans generally react really poorly to any perceived BM. IMO competition warrants passion, playfulness, and intrigue. It definitely makes the game more fun to watch!
I have a feeling you didn’t read the article, because Joshua was defending the innocuous shit that OTHER people found offensive.
Someone out there really wants to be outraged about this but can’t quite figure out why.
Uh... Bluehole are the developers AND producers of PUBG.. Separating PUBG into it’s own company doesn’t only give the PUBG team additional freedom to operate, but it also frees up resources within Bluehole to work on other things.
I’m so conflicted. This looks so fun and frustrating, and I’m terrified knowing I’m inevitably going to purchase it and hurt myself for several hours trying to win.
The entire point of TASing is that these runs can be replicated on unmodified hardware using only controller inputs.
You shouldn’t denounce something you don’t understand. Tool-assisted speedruns/superplays (TAS) don’t inject code, or modify code externally. Everything that’s done in a TAS should be able to be replicated on a console using only controller inputs, and there are many videos out there showing such console verification.
If you had a million friends and all but one of them spouted hateful crap at you every time you tried to give them insight on the process of game development, you’d probably just stop talking about it in general, because there’s no longer a point to it. This article and the complaints within wouldn’t make sense if…
If you give FWA an active ability and allow it to be strung along for a long time, it becomes a huge problem. It was already a problem vanilla at 2 mana, the true driving force behind Pirate Warrior’s oppressive start. It’s easy to call it underpowered when you compare it to other class weapons, but they don’t have…
Meh, I don’t think the 3 mana 3/2 axe needs any additional benefits, because remember.. Eaglehorn Bow exists in a class without Upgrade, as does Rallying Blade. The only thing that would’ve made sense to add to the card is a Gain 3 Armor battlecry, or something like that.
Most of us are preparing for Raza + Shadowreaper Anduin to take over ladder after this change. I have no qualms with all of the balance changes made, looking forward to the update!
The way I see it, Barnes hits Jackson's left hand, which is indeed touching the ball. However, after the contact, Jackson's right hand is what pushes the ball out, thus negating any effect the rule may have had otherwise. The many times I looked at the replay on television, the overhead view in particular, I saw the…
