Counterpoint, put it wherever you want on a street car it won’t matter and you balance it all at the end anyways. Most tire shops don’t make any effort to align them anyway.

I probably would rank a spec Miata higher than this civic for track days, but it is in the similar vein. I was so hopeful they would see the light and offer a manual this go around.  Most of my family has 4runners, and they are a nice size and well built.  They are not fast so at least if I could enjoy shifting it would make it tolerable to me.  Heck seems like the new gas 4runners and Tacoma are faster than the hybrids…

I am more of an autox person right now, but if I get into track days I would look for something like this, the safety on track is uch higher and feels like you avoid so many compromises of tracking a street car.  

If we can get some Infiniti styling with Honda drivetrains, I'll call that a win

With how reliable the modern car is I still think that certified pre-owned is a better option than trying to make a cost reduced at every possible step car.  Consumers get a nicer often safer car that still has a warrenty
