Just because someone has it well, doesn’t mean they’re your enemy.

Now playing

I point you towards this video. The fit has always a strange car, but is still a blast to drive at safe speeds. You’d be surprised how much passion is put into even the most mundane cars.

Roommate went from a Fit to a CR-V last month.

I forgot those existed.

A restored Honda CRX. It’s both a Civic and not a Civic at the same time.

It’s a bribe to get them to accept the contract. Nothing more, nothing less.

Thanks for the clarification. I had never heard them called that before.

I’ve been running the Assurance Weatherreadys and they’ve done great job but last year was fairly mild so I didn’t really get them into “deep” snow yet. It’s looking like a wet winter this year so I’ll get to find out how well they do.

Thanks for the clarification. I had never heard them called that before.

I find it odd that “Deep Snow Rated” (those with the snowflake and mountain symbol on them, also known as all weather tires) all seasons are also not considered. I’m not going to claim they’re as good as real winter tires but for someone who can’t afford two separate sets of wheels and tires, they are a decent option.

The Italians do have “beer”

Ahh, someone who gets it.

David Tracy: The only person on earth to call a rusty Jeep ZJ a “Holy Grail”.

Does the bluetooth work? That’s all I care about. I run Nav/Spotify/Podcasts off of my phone.

Doesn’t look that out of the ordinary for a road course when people cut the corner too much. Just more exaggerated because it’s being hit by a car that weighs 1000 lbs too much.

From St. Louis, didn’t expect to see an Imo’s reference today.

I see one of these all the time at a Sheetz by where I work. It looks like a great option for someone who wants an electric that is just a car. Nice interior, decent looks, and a reputable brand as far as fit and finish goes. The only thing I’ll say against it is that it seems to sit more in the lifted wagon class

“But my Tesla has the finest interior since the Mk 6 Golf.” - Tesla owner (probably)

At this point, infinite miles. The infrastructure just isn’t there for apartment dwellers to switch to electric. As has been said in other comments, filling with fuel is a short side trip. Recharging with public chargers isn’t.
