I’m a fan of the German law that states that labor leaders must be on the board of directors.

The larger issue, is that the Lordstown plant basically has kept the Youngstown/Warren area afloat for a couple decades. The area definitely has other issues, most notably brazenly corrupt government officials, but this already bad area is taking a huge hit.
That sounds right. The Aston Martin Valkyrie is also one of their projects, I believe.
Dammit! I was hoping I was dealing with the typical “Communism is bad because Russia” type troll. Now I have to get back to work instead of arguing with you. /s
I already work designing automation systems, but thanks for the advise.
That’s a great view of the present situation with a worrying lack of forethought.
He doesn’t work directly for RBR anymore. I forget the name (and I’m too lazy to look it up) but he works for a design house that is owned by Red Bull but is independent from the RBR and Torro Rosso.
So what is the plan as automation takes over and there are no longer any paying jobs? I’m a fairly nihilistic person but just letting people die of starvation and exposure is too dystopian even for me.
If you believe a bunch of stoners, it was mostly due to the Hearst family having large holdings in timber (mostly in northern Mexico). Hemp grows much more quickly and makes good paper (and certain varieties make marijuana), so they lobbied congress to make it all illegal.
They’ll chafe, but we’re at the point where sugar-coated bullshit isn’t what’s needed. Those who are offended are the ones that need to hear without nuance because they will pervert anything else to fit their narrative.

Forget that V6 Dino revival nonsense
I have a completely irrational love for these.
You must not frequent the same places I do on the internet. I saw tons of bitching about those exact things with the Bugatti run.
My fear is that if this attempt fails it will kill all possibility of factory Tesla motorsports involvement, at least until Musk is no longer in charge. They really should be in Formula E and the electric off-road series (I forgot the name).
It is a rear engined car, so it might have helped them get closer to a 50:50 weight distribution.
This was fairly common to see on LeMans cars for a while due to the fact the rules required a spare tire to be with the cars at all times. I don’t remember when this rule was removed, but I believe it was in the late 50s-early 60s.
I’ve run into that mentality of “we have to build it exactly to code” all the time when doing electrical design. The concept that the law is only the bare minimum and that you are allowed to exceed those standards seems to be a foreign concept for most people.
Sounds like it might be the C3 cars that had the original LT1 small block in them.
