I made a conscious effort to be the nicest driver I could when I owned mine, including using the turn signals.

As an Englishman, the American penchant for pickups has always mystified me. They’re big, have a large, exposed load bay in the rear, and the interiors range from “grim” to “grim with shiny bits on.” As far as something to use as a car, they appear to offer the worst of two worlds: illogical family car,

I don’t remember the Daytona’s racing. IROC was never anything that my family went out of the way to watch.

Yes, the original IROC. The IROC I remember was oval races using Trans-Am’s and Dodge Avengers (the original ones from the ‘90s.)

My mother’s oncologist while she was going through chemo was named Dr. Needles.

It’s getting a whole lot easier now though. Most of the systems that were historically driven off the accessory drive are now moving to electric drive. You’re pretty much getting to the point where the alternator is the only thing on the accessory drive on non supercharged engines.

This is my take. Personal car insurance may become obsolete but it won’t be obsolete as a whole.

This!

I remember James May stating that on his Rolls it was as loud as a normal car and just had an extremely loud clock.

I have to agree. Both Lincoln and Cadillac had factory limousines in their past that seem to be what Toyota emulated for the Century in the 60s.

And my want of a Phaeton and Touareg are probably why I also feel a mighty need for the Century.

I’ve still got probably another 30-40 years in me. Now being able to afford one is another issue.

My back hurts just looking at that. Cushiness is nothing without good ergonomics.

Any thing is possible with a Sawzall and imagination.

After reading the headline my first thought was, “Okay, I’ll respect the uniform, but I won’t respect the single brain celled organism inside the uniform.”

I wish they would have debuted it with the new Cadillac twin-turbo V8 instead of the LS LT engine.

It’s pushrod. Looks like it’s the LT1 with a dry sump and a little bit of a tune. Of everything that’s been talked up on this car, the engine isn’t really mentioned much.

The main thing is that the Republicans, since Nixon, always want a puppet as a president. This is how you get:

Fix it and get back out there. Motorsports is more about determination than anything else.

Yeah, I’ve owned a BMW with the N63. It was at peak torque from 1,750 to 4,500 RPM. That was an awesome car to drive.
