They do seem to be the only ones trying to do a true transitional platform. Hyundai/Kia kind of have it with the Ioniq and Niro platform but not fully. I think people forget that BMW is not the behemoth company that VW is and can’t focus all their resources on something that may or may not alienate their buying public.

Does caving in their skulls count as “meeting” them? If so, I’m in.

Colanders serve very important tasks, like draining pasta.

You’re right it is absolutely disgusting.

Don’t let the ocean take them. That would just pollute the oceans further.

I mean the Guild and OSI are really the ones controlling the country, right?

I don’t remember who commented on it, but someone said the irony and shear bullshittery of the plaque on the flag that was planted saying “We came in peace, for all mankind.” while the US was bombing the everloving shit out of Southeast Asia was the funniest part of the whole thing.

This has been a big thing on the left of politics for a while now. Very few ask the cost of war, but as soon as money might help someone (social programs, education, scientific endeavors..) it’s all about how much it costs. Unfortunately I think this will be the way until we go from “An offensive posture is the best

As an old millennial who left college in 2008 and stepped right into the pile of shit that was a recession that’s still going on for those of us who are working poor, I agree fully with all of these statements.

More hp, more torque, lighter curb weight, better mileage like MUCH better, flatter torque curve.

Jim Lovell is also my favorite. I do still get a kick out of the fact that I bought the 20th Anniversary Blu-ray of Apollo 13 and proceeded to watch all the special features, most of which were about the Apollo program and not the movie, and never watched the movie. The movie is amazingly well done, but it’s nothing

I think Marko cares because to date Vettel is the only driver that shows the world that he’s the genius he thinks he is. Ricciardo is a race winner but I don’t think he’ll be a champion and Max might be a champion if he learns that to finish 1st you must finish.

I would love a green, diesel, manual station wagon. Never been a fan of brown cars.

Probably, but then I’ll be depressed that I can’t afford one.

The C6 and C7 Grand Sports were the Z06 with the standard engine. On the C7 it was offered with Z07 package as well. On the C6 it was used the aluminum monocoque from the Z06 instead of the steel monocoque used on the standard car.

Wait a few weeks, it will be back to bashing them and bitching about the Boomer owners before you know it.

What worries me is they will do the same thing they did in the C6 and C7 where they come out with the Z06 and wait a couple years before someone realizes that they can take a Z06 and put the standard engine in it and call it a Grand Sport.

This is where I’m at on it. From a business perspective, distributing development costs on vehicles that will take a long period of time to recoup the investment makes perfect sense.

It’s a mental block more than anything. It’s an obvious compromise in my head even though I know it would make little difference.
