You almost got it right. Regular Cab Long Bed is the way to go.
Had a 5-series with the original version of the N63, and I can confirm that it is a hell of a truck engine. The version I had was rated 450 lb-ft of torque from 1750 RPM. The later versions make more power and torque but the peak starts at a slightly higher RPM, 2000 or 2250 I believe.
I usually wait for the first Dinan tune since they do all of their dynoing with the engine out of the car and publish full before and after curves.
Probably. Also as can be seen in an absolute fuckton of comments, Dynojet evidently makes horrible dynos.
Weird. It’s almost like aesthetics are a subjective thing.
Yes, you can buy all the best the malaise era has to offer cheaply. There’s a reason for this, they were fairly shitty cars new and have now been upgraded to completely shitty.
I wish Craigslist and Facebook had these services. The listings seem to be somehow getting worse.
The CRZ really was the second generation Insight. The weird 85% size Prius thing Honda called the Insight should have been called something different.
Actually yesterday as I was talking to a coworker. I still want one.
I see a lot in Robins Egg Blue, or whatever stupid name FCA gives it.
But the downside is living in Southern California.
Counterpoint: Buy whatever the hell you want. Just because it’s a bad decision financially doesn’t mean it’s a bad decision emotionally.
The color is the only thing I like about the car.
This seems to be mostly track day guys but it is a “cheap” way to get more power out of the engine and you can then focus more money on chassis modifications.
Zanardi was my first thought. Then it was Mick Doohan who had to have is legs stitched together to save one of them. He then went on to dominate with 5 straight 500cc World Championships (and honestly his mullet gives him a few bonus points). After that was Niki. All three of these were people who could have very…
General consensus seems to be that the USDM cars make a better track car, especially in forced induction applications. The EUDM cars are still the better road cars to have. The hate for the USDM cars also means that the M3 is still fairly attainable as well.
From a basic electrical perspective, the 48 volt system allows them to run the same amount of crap at 1/4 of the current of the 12 volt system. This means less copper is required to do the same job.
I’m not. I hope his engine seizes on the pit lane before the race.
Hit number 2 right on the nose plus the added benefit of seats which don’t give me a backache. Good job.
