Wait, real questions are allowed? I thought we had to rehash the same tired jokes from every Supra article like brainless drones.

The thing is, Sapa probably made good parts when they first started supplying to the ordnance company because there were plenty of successful rockets flights where the nose cone opened.

I think they decided that you had to wind out the engine at every opportunity. If you drive like a sane and rational human being, I know theres only like 5 in the whole world, you should be able to get great mileage out of one.

And if you didn’t abuse it, it was actually possible to easily exceed the EPA mpg rating.

I said this up above on different comment, but...Also see the Toyobaru twins.

Also see the Toyobaru twins.

You way overestimate the distances that hillclimb cars actually do.

Don’t forget that they were also responsible for the Pacer and Gremlin. There is some sins that must be atoned for there.

Both are shitheads who have rejected logic for blind loyalty. I’m pretty sure that makes them all assholes.

The correct answer is obviously Moon.

Alltrack is a VW. Are you thinking of the Crosstrek?

This is kind of my view on it. It seems somewhat irresponsible to give 500+ HP without AWD to the average driver. I could give myself some good scares in a 400 HP car with AWD if I was just a little too careless with the loud pedal and I pride myself on being a fairly smooth driver.

How has this not shown up in the comments yet?

I think he’s playing into the whole “intelligence vs common sense” argument. Basically, just because someone doesn’t show common sense they must be stupid.

But they’re the people who need to see it the most.

In Germany, with mass transit systems that actually function, that might be the correct average. In the US it’s short over 5000+ miles.

Great article, thanks for sharing.

Came here to say this and now I don’t have to. The Calsonic car is legendary in its own right, but Godzilla will always be the Winfield R-32s that raced in Australia and won Bathurst on that very sad day when Denny Hulme left us.

A little bit of 3M Adhesive remover gets rid of the decals pretty quick. The badges will take a bit more effort.

As I’ve said many times. Vintage racing is the best car show money can buy. Paddock is open to the public, the racer’s are generally the owners and mechanics on the cars, and you get to watch some seriously impressive cars out on track.
