I think he’s referring to the GTD models sold in European markets but that is at 181 HP in Mk7 trim. I don’t recall them ever doing a 2.0 liter diesel higher horsepower than that.

The Group A Delta Integrale, while a good car, just can’t compete with the 500+ HP, mid-engined, insanity of the Group B Delta S4.

I guess I’m a toddlertimer. It’s hard to beat the Delta S4 for pure insanity.

Now if they could only get their shit together in racing.

Honestly McLaren is the only British car company that I think gets a pass on using British Racing Green. Even though they were started in England, they were started by a Kiwi and they’re most legendary cars from their formative period were a particular shade of Yellow Orange. As long as they keep this color around, I’m

I think Lola is in the same boat. They no longer make racecars but I think the aircraft division is still around.

Ill take mine in S123 form with a diesel, thank you.

I honestly don’t see replacing the Ferrari engine with something else to be an issue considering that it could be argued that every new road engine design they had from the early 70s on was a Fiat engine.

It was an ingenious solution for a work truck V6. Take a 350 SBC and cut two cylinders off the end. Gives you a compact engine made with mostly off the shelf parts. Of the ones we had only the GMT400 was the older 4.3 design used in the original M vans and S10s. The others were all the Vortec 4300 engines.

My exact experience from the point in time where my family had 5 vehicles with the 4.3. There were two blazers (‘98 and ‘04 both 2wd), a Sonoma (5-speed and 2wd), a S10 (4wd), and a GMT400 (2wd regular cab, long bed). It is a very good small truck engine.

I picked this up on Audible and listened to it last month. I figured on this being a book that an engineer (me) would enjoy but very few others would even find interesting. Im very impressed by how easy to read and explanatory the book is. Its definitely my favorite book of the past year or so.

Please God, don’t do it! The Fate franchise is already stupidly complicated as it is.

I’d go for the Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet for farm duty.

Ive had this dream of converting a G65 into an overland vehicle for a while now. I know that the 500/550s would make a better platform but the utter ridiculousness of using a $200K+ vehicle for an overlander is hard to pass up.

You and me both.

Plus you can get the E63S as a wagon too (in the US).

It being in Rolla is not surprising at all. Im willing to bet this engine was at UMR (now Missouri S&T) for some reason. That school is engineering heaven in the middle of the Ozarks.

I think those are the front parking sensors.

In 1990 my parents cross-shopped a base model Suburban against the large Volvo wagon (700 series, I think). Both were around $20K at the time. The modern comparison would be the V90 vs Suburban. The V90 starts at $51, 450 and the Suburban starts at $50,800. To me it looks like they have inflated about equally.

I could swear that he has the same face as some comic villain. I have seen that face before and I’m pretty sure it gave me nightmares then, too.
