Murmur is great, but they're still kind of figuring out who they are. LRichP would be my second choice for best R.E.M. of the 80s.
…although, one could argue that Chronic Town has the best ratio of good songs, since that one is All Killer-No Filler IMO.

Funny how people see things differently. I've always held that Reckoning is easily their best album, and "So. Central Rain" is its best song, though "Rockville" is pretty wonderful as well.

I could be mistaken but I believe a young Jack Black was in Bob Roberts too.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I've always thought this (wonderful) song was about a nervous groom waiting for the wedding to start and wishing he and his beloved had decided to elope.

Agreed, re: Dan Harmon.

And of course with that one, they didn't know if there was even gonna be a season two for a while.

This is sadly true. Though I'm not sure how much it's increasing. They've taken forever from the get-go.

You shut your whore mouth!
Er, sorry about that. I get edgy when people say anything less than glowing about the Venture Bros. and its creators. I love Archer, but the Ventures is my soul.

I always thought "Autumn Sweater" was about a nervous groom right before his wedding.
