From what I've read, soccer moms (and ebay sellers) are figuring out the shipping schedules and showing up at the stores the morning of new shipments and cleaning out the store...and probably selling the extra on ebay.

Well, it has simple name but it's not the spear that pieced Christ. They're spears that piece AT Fields brought by aliens to Earth. The scientist in the article would carbon date it and claim it's not the true spear of Destiny. That's why I was teasing incarnedine_v. :)

Yes, yes, I do know that but per the process of elimination used on the spears in the article, carbon dating would show that the Spear of Longinus from the series was not from the time of Christ and be eliminated as not being the true Spear of Destiny. :)
